Promised blessings are conditional

Choose obedience to Eloheem (God)—loving Him. I pray you do not choose to disobey Him—this is hating Eloheem.

The promised blessings from Eloheem are conditional. We must meet His conditions. We must obey Him in order to receive His promised blessings. Do not confuse His mercy in the sunshine and rain upon the just and unjust; and the fact that He wakes both groups up each day that He does with His promised blessings. There is that which we must do that our names remain written in Heaven. The saved of God live His ways. We have no problem being governed by Him. We delight in Him, His Word, His law, His Sabbath. We Love Him having His Love and therefore, we obey Him. His name (character) is written in our forehead (mind).

Beware, Satan will answer your prayers and give you what you asking for, and heal you by simply removing what he put on you in the first place. But he cannot and will not cast his devils out of you—“But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against an house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.”

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: and thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.”

Read Deuteronomy 28 beginning at verse 15 to know the promised curses for disobedience.

Continue to study the Word of God to know His promises unto His obedient children. Surrender self-will to Him daily. Claim His promises. His Word comes to pass.

Chapter 41—In Contact With Others (Part 2)

Consideration for Burden Bearers

Many have borne so few burdens, their hearts have known so little real anguish, they have felt so little perplexity and distress in behalf of others, that they cannot understand the work of the true burden bearer. No more capable are they of appreciating his burdens than is the child of understanding the care and toil of his burdened father. The child may wonder at his father’s fears and perplexities. These appear needless to him. But when years of experience shall have been added to his life, when he himself comes to bear its burdens, he will look back upon his father’s life and understand that which was once so incomprehensible. Bitter experience has given him knowledge. 

The work of many a burden bearer is not understood, his labors are not appreciated, until death lays him low. When others take up the burdens he has laid down, and meet the difficulties he encountered, they can understand how his faith and courage were tested. Often then the mistakes they were so quick to censure are lost sight of. Experience teaches them sympathy. God permits men to be placed in positions of responsibility. When they err, He has power to correct or to remove them. We should be careful not to take into our hands the work of judging that belongs to God. 

The conduct of David toward Saul has a lesson. By command of God, Saul had been anointed as king over Israel. Because of his disobedience the Lord declared that the kingdom should be taken from him; and yet how tender and courteous and forbearing was the conduct of David toward him! In seeking the life of David, Saul came into the wilderness and, unattended, entered the very cave where David with his men of war lay hidden. “And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the Lord said unto thee, … I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee…. And he said unto his men, The Lord forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.” The Saviour bids us, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Remember that soon your life record will pass in review before God. Remember, too, that He has said, “Thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: … for thou that judgest doest the same things.” 1 Samuel 24:4-6; Matthew 7:1, 2; Romans 2:1.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the assurance of Your ability to execute divine judgment without our participation. Instead, of judging others, please bless us to realize our own most urgent need. Then please bless us to fully repent and receive divine power to become one with You as You are with Your Son Jesus. We desire that we might have His mind and enjoy His experience of perfect obedience that we might one day soon stand in Thy glorious presence without fear of death. We Must Learn to Pray Effectively

Most Christians haven’t been taught how to wage war in prayer. And if we don’t understand importunate, relentless, Spirit-led intercession, we’ll quickly become discouraged and give up.

“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Luke 18:1

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

We must not give up. Souls are too precious in God’s sight.

No Christian is Exempt

Not one believer has the option to sit this out. If you have been converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and claim to be his true follower, you are called to intercede.

Jesus said: “All things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:23 You are the one God is waiting to use. Every believer is to stand between the living and the dead. As

Aaron did– see Numbers 16:48 and plead for souls as they imitate their Saviour who ―Ever liveth to make intercession Hebrews 7:25.

Pre-requisite for Eternal Life.

There is a great work to be done in the earth, and the Lord Jesus has taken men into co-partnership with himself, in order that heavenly agencies may cooperate with human agencies. Christ was in travail of soul for the redemption of the world, and those who are laborers together with God are representatives of Christ to our world, and will have compassion for the lost, and will travail in soul for the redemption of men.

Unless the church awakes and attends to her post of duty, God will charge the loss of souls to her account. SpTA03 30.3

Upon whom will the seal of God be placed?

The day of God’s vengeance is just upon us.

The seal of God will be placed upon the foreheads of those only who sigh and cry for the abominations done in the land. Those who link in sympathy with the world are eating and drinking with the drunken and will surely be destroyed with the workers of iniquity. “ The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.‖ 5T 212

Chapter 41—In Contact With Others

Every association of life calls for the exercise of self-control, forbearance, and sympathy. We differ so widely in disposition, habits, education, that our ways of looking at things vary. We judge differently. Our understanding of truth, our ideas in regard to the conduct of life, are not in all respects the same. There are no two whose experience is alike in every particular. The trials of one are not the trials of another. The duties that one finds light are to another most difficult and perplexing. 

So frail, so ignorant, so liable to misconception is human nature, that each should be careful in the estimate he places upon another. We little know the bearing of our acts upon the experience of others. What we do or say may seem to us of little moment, when, could our eyes be opened, we should see that upon it depended the most important results for good or for evil.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the assurance of Your divine guidance and eternal sufficient care. Please bless us to  completely surrender to You, being assured of Your absolute power to accomplish Your will in and through our weaknesses. Like Abraham, who obeyed, not knowing where he was going but fully trusted in You, please bless us to learn that kind of faith and meekness, patience, humility, and self-forgetfulness. Please bless us to so love and trust You that we would be as clay in the potter’s hands. May we be transformed in character to Your highest goal for us: godliness and godlikeness. Please bless us to realize our most urgent need, repent, and receive divine power to become one with You as You are with Your Son Jesus. We desire that we might have His mind and enjoy His experience of perfect obedience—always pleasing You,—and blessing children and others to do the same. Then may we one day soon stand in Thy glorious presence without fear of death. Thank You, because we ask it in the Awesome and Almighty name of Your Son, Jesus, our Saving King. Amen.

Gospel is Foolishness in the Mind of the Lost

Strong‘s Concordance- G3472- Foolishness = mōria (mo-ree’-ah) From G3474; silliness, that is, absurdity: foolishness. G3474 – mōros—mo-ros-Probably from the base of G3466; dull or stupid (as if shut up), that is, heedless,(morally) blockhead, (apparently) absurd: — fool (-ish, ishness).

The Greek word mōria is where we get our English word moron. Webster’s defines moron as “the highest classification of mental deficiency, above imbecile and idiot.

A lost person sees the gospel as absurd, foolish, and even idiotic. Not because they are unintelligent—but because the “strong man (Satan) has blinded their mind and hardened their heart. As we just read in 1 Corinthians 2:14

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness (absurd, silly), Until that stronghold is broken through intercessory prayer they cannot and will not receive the truth.

No Prayer, No Breakthrough

Trying to share Jesus with someone who is not being prayed for is spiritually fruitless–but that does not mean the Evangelist‘s prayer is ineffective, even if they don‘t realize that they are the only one interceding. God honors the sincere prayer of faith, by those dedicated to reaching the lost, whether that prayer was offered in private or in the moment of outreach. But if we attempt to “witness without first binding the strong man through prayer, all we do is enrage the enemy, and he fortifies his grip on their soul. Prayerless evangelism only hardens the resistance.

Souls may be won to a church club, but not surrendered to Christ. So pray much before going out on the street, that the God of heaven, who knows every soul, will soften the heart of each soul that you meet.

Chapter 40—Help in Daily Living (Part 7)

God Will Provide

Many who profess to be Christ’s followers have an anxious, troubled heart because they are afraid to trust themselves with God. They do not make a complete surrender to Him, for they shrink from the consequences that such a surrender may involve. Unless they do make this surrender they cannot find peace. 

There are many whose hearts are aching under a load of care because they seek to reach the world’s standard. They have chosen its service, accepted its perplexities, adopted its customs. Thus their character is marred and their life made a weariness. The continual worry is wearing out the life forces. Our Lord desires them to lay aside this yoke of bondage. He invites them to accept His yoke; He says, “My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Worry is blind and cannot discern the future; but Jesus sees the end from the beginning. In every difficulty He has His way prepared to bring relief. “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Matthew 11:30; Psalm 84:11. 

Our heavenly Father has a thousand ways to provide for us of which we know nothing. Those who accept the one principle of making the service of God supreme, will find perplexities vanish and a plain path before their feet. 

The faithful discharge of today’s duties is the best preparation for tomorrow’s trials. Do not gather together all tomorrow’s liabilities and cares and add them to the burden of today. “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:34. 

Let us be hopeful and courageous. Despondency in God’s service is sinful and unreasonable. He knows our every necessity. To the omnipotence of the King of kings our covenant-keeping God unites the gentleness and care of the tender shepherd. His power is absolute, and it is the pledge of the sure fulfillment of His promises to all who trust in Him. He has means for the removal of every difficulty, that those who serve Him and respect the means He employs may be sustained. His love is as far above all other love as the heavens are above the earth. He watches over His children with a love that is measureless and everlasting. 

In the darkest days, when appearances seem most forbidding, have faith in God. He is working out His will, doing all things well in behalf of His people. The strength of those who love and serve Him will be renewed day by day. 

He is able and willing to bestow upon His servants all the help they need. He will give them the wisdom which their varied necessities demand. 

Said the tried apostle Paul: “He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, 10.
