I am reminded…

God reminded me what I am. He reminded me whose I am. He reminded me what I am to focus on. I am to give everything to Him in prayer.

He is to be the One taking up residence in my heart. My thoughts are to be such that I can involve Him in them and in all I do. I am not to hash out things done and said against me. I am not to hash them out over and over. That glorifies Satan.

I am to pray for others, intercede for them, supplicate for them—without bringing up the bad and ugly things others choose to do. I am to forgive them, love them, seek that God’s will for them be done. I am to pray that if they can be saved, they will be. I am to simply let go, and let God. Then, I am to keep my eyes, my heart heaven bound.

At one point, the enemy thought he could break me down, cause me to sin, and then enter God’s house (in my mind, my thoughts). He thought he could bring other devils and take control. He thought to put his strongholds upon me.

But I called upon my Father in the name of Y’shua! He heard my cry! Y’shua, through the Holy Spirit, laid me down and kept me through the night. God woke me up this morning! He got me up on my feet! God knew what food I needed to assimilate this morning, before starting the task of this day.

He knows Satan plans to sift me as wheat. But Oh, the One and Only True God, the God of my salvation! His plans, His thoughts for me prevail over the enemy every time. Oh, I thank God that I sat down with Him in devotion and let Him speak to me, to feed me this morning.

Maybe you need this today, too; so I share with you the bread of life:

Philippians 4:7-9 KJV
[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

God. Oh, my God! Blessings and honor and praise be unto You! These words also speak the fruit of the Spirit. God is!

My heart belongs to God. I belong to God. If God is your everything, if by His grace your desire is to live by His every word, you will be encouraged in Him. You will be strengthened by Him; and no fiery dart of the wicked will destroy you.

Think on God. Put your eyes and thoughts heavenward.

Pray Psalm 91. Pray also Ephesians 6, beginning at verse 10. Put on God’s whole armor. Pray through to verse 20. Let us stop giving Satan glory, repeating the evil, wicked, sinful words or actions of others. Instead, in earnest prayer let us seek God for them: “Father please forgive them, they know not what they do.”

Let us keep praising God. Let us determine to live for Him. Let us live out His wondrous works before the children of men. That glorifies GOD.
