The Love Walk

The “love walk” is a journey on the path “the strait gate, narrow way.” This love walk is a lonely life’s journey.

Still, we are not alone. Y’shua traveled this walk long before we began experiencing it. He paved the way, giving us the map that shows us there are turns, curves, dead ends. There are obstacles, road blocks, many broken and closed bridges, dirt roads, paved roads, and many tolls.

Oh, but His map gives us something no other has: The key to overcome it all, to discern which way to go, when to stand still, how to know “thus saith the Lord.” The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth and gives us understanding, telling us what God has said, and of things to come. There is no GPS like the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The journey is lonely, because many do not bear each other’s burdens. Many are not their brother’s/sister’s keeper. The masses get off the road when the going gets tough. All the fiery darts of the wicked are hurled at them. Many are left high and dry by their spouse and are cut off by their parents, grown children, siblings, other kinfolk. They are avoided, mocked, cursed out, lied on, and called every name in the book. What is the book called? I do not know. I think it is the world’s book of foolishness.

Y’shua traveled this journey by the power of the Holy Spirit. He made way that we have access to this same power: The Holy Spirit.

Hold on. It won’t be long. Soon we will be going home. Hold on.

Matthew 5:3-12 KJV
[3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. [5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. [6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. [7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. [8] Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. [10] Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
