But, Who are you married to? What all does the marriage equate to in our, in your daily living before God, and one with another?
Submit—by faith, living unto righteousness. All in Christ are in a holy commitment, holy covenant with God as the man and woman are to be holy being in a holy marriage—no longer two separate, but one.
When we look at submission in marriage, submission period, be mindful of the fact that we are first married to Christ. Our living is worship. Our daily living reveals who we worship.
In our daily living, if we are truly the bride of Christ; we are surrendered, submissive to God loving Him unto obedience by faith. We then shall be submissive to our spouse, and in all our living glorifying God every-day. We were created by God for God. Period. If His Spirit is in us, we shall glorify Him in all aspects of life living His character, practically applying His principles in our daily lives. He will perfect Himself in us. We do not, will not live, choose, submit, sin against our conscience—the Holy Spirit. We love God with all our heart (mind), soul (existence), might (our human effort); we love one another as we love ourself. Our love is not by the World’s love (counterfeit love). We abiding in Christ, His Word abiding in us: We are one another’s keeper.
In the holy marriage covenant of the holy man and woman: They love one another because they first know personally the Lord God. If one does not know God, they may have turned away from God—backslid. They may have been joined together in a civil union and didn’t know God prior to—in this the one loving God lives life by faith, power of the Holy Ghost in them—they become the vessel God uses to teach the other Christ righteousness, His love, His ways.
Go and search out in God’s Word what His words mean. Peace be unto you.
”Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For He that will love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; Let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, And his ears are open unto their prayers: But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.“
1 Peter 3:1-12 KJV
Truly, this is a sanctified life. Praise and honor and glory to God.
