Christ our example, His written word: All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
The Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance what God has said, and tells us of the things to come. But if we are not studying the word about Christ, about God; the love of God, His statues, His ways, etc; How will we know and experience the saving power and grace of God that we know Him, and Jesus Christ who He sent?
If we are not being led of the Holy Spirit as Christ was; what will become of us?
If Christ mind is in our mind; we shall overcome as He overcame.
Our daily life lived is to be a sermon—a sermon teaching faith and God’s power: The gospel: Th power of God unto salvation. The life is to be lived with authority, confidence in God. When we do speak, our words are in harmony with our living—we are one in Christ.
The word of God testifies, and is a witness of the character, of the love, of the righteousness, of the mercy of God, and of the saving Power of God. Christ life is our example of how we are to exist, of how we are to live, love, think, walk, speak, teach, etc.
From Genesis to Revelation, God teaches us how we shall live, who we are to serve and worship; and when we are to worship and how we are to worship. Our very lives daily lived is worship.
God’s principles are in His word to apply to every life circumstance/situation. God has left nothing out. Christ lived the example of how we should live. God has given us a multitude of counselors throughout His written word.
If we be believers of Christ—hearers and doers of the word of God; we will live it having the mind, faith, and the Spirit of God.
If we abide in Christ; and the word of Christ abides in us: we shall ask what we will, and it will be given to us. We must know God, know His word: by seeking, asking, knocking for the Holy Spirit of God. He will put the Holy Spirit in us. We have the same access to the Holy Spirit that Christ had.
God’s principles in His word are for us to by faith, choose to practically apply in our daily lives—living by every word that procedeth out of the mouth of God; by our faith and the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit that Christ had to guide Him, speak to Him, teach Him; we have access to the same Holy Spirit of God. We shall overcome as Christ overcame.
