Your choice to eat, BUT…

You choose whether to eat to live or live to eat. But! Did you know that the mushroom is not a plant? What? How is that? Let me tell you…

Mushrooms grow on dirt. Yes! Mushrooms grow on wood, trees, in the dark, and damp places. They are not food. Mushrooms are fungi. They do not fit in God’s food group: fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, vegetables, legumes, lentils.

Again: mushrooms are not plants. Mushrooms are fungi. Mushrooms do not grow from a seed. Mushrooms do not have roots growing out from the soil. Mushrooms can manifest on soil, trees, rotten wood, etc. The mushroom is a fungus.

They are noted to have healing properties and lots of nutrients. Well, pork has nutrients in it too; but God said don’t eat it, and don’t touch its dead carcass.

Mushrooms are not in category God made as food (meat) for the human body that He created. As Creator, He knows what is best for the human body to thrive, to have life and health more abundantly, and to prosper, and be maintained.

God’s science is what we go by–not mankind’s. There are many different methods and arts of healing. However, God only has His way. God’s way of healing is herbs and our food (meat), or minerals within the food from the soil, and water. Natural remedies should be used for healing. In the same way, there is only One way to God the Father: Through Jesus Christ. And there is only One way to Christ: Through the Holy Ghost.

God has one way that is best for the human body to maintain health and to prosper. To assimilate that which He has created is best for the human machinery to function well and properly.

Note that the resource below refers to mushrooms as food but makes this statement:

Although considered a vegetable, mushrooms are neither a plant nor animal food.

In the above article, they explain how mushrooms can contain vitamin D by growing them in UV light. Normally, mushrooms thrive in dark and damp places more than out in sunshine and light.

Mushrooms aren’t really plants, they are types of fungi that have a “plantlike” form

A mushroom is the reproductive structure produced by some fungi.

“Do mushrooms have roots?” The answer is ‘No’,

Do your research. Know what you are assimilating before you eat.

Nowhere will you find mushrooms in God’s word as God’s appointed food, nor for His appointed healing. Mushroom as mold, however, is mentioned in the word of God.

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭29‬ ‭KJV‬‬
