Here We Go Again, Until We Get It…

Holidays are not God’s. They belong to this world. Remember, no one can sanctify or bless anything, except God. Period.

The only holy day God requires His people to observe is His holy Sabbath day. The holy Sabbath day is all about God. It is for worshiping God. And Communion is what Jesus Himself said we should partake of in remembrance of Him.

Christmas never has meant anything about Christ. Actually, it is the worship of Tamuz. It is a pagan mass. God says to worship no other god but Him. This includes bowing down. Let that sink in. God calls us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. That means to serve (worship) Him in sincerity and truth.

God in Heaven is the Creator and my Father, my Master, my Maker, the God of my salvation. I choose to worship Him—the Lord God—as He requires and tells me to. Period.

If you want to indulge in the world’s holidays, that’s your choice. By God’s grace (by His power), I made my choice. Period. I am not knocking you. Don’t knock me for telling you the truth as God calls for me to do. It is because of His love. It’s what He gave me to give. It’s how I live.

I am doing what God tells me to do, even if I must do it alone. It is not necessary for anyone else to agree with me. It is not another to accept it or even want to hear it. The truth is still the truth.

I tell you because of the grace (the power) of God. I love you. Period. If this all sounds very personal, that’s because it is. But it is much too common a challenge among God’s people to keep it to myself.

Here’s a question for you. Think about your personal circumstance. Is there anything wrong or against God in providing for the needy, including your spouse, your children, grandchildren, parents, other loved ones? If you provide what they need, why not give it? It could be just a simple call or a note by text, email, letter or card. It may be a gift. Either way, it lets them know in a very personal way that you are thinking of them.

But No. Don’t reverence a holiday. Worship God in spirit and in truth. Serve God in sincerity and truth. For God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. God is righteous, and in Him is no unrighteousness at all. We must be careful how we do things, careful to give only God our praise.

I said this before. I say it again: We need to know the truth and be mindful of what we do. Do not just do something, because its always been done that way your whole life. God will make those who want to know truth know it. But God will not clear the guilty.

Examine your traditions. Know where they came from, how they got started, and what they truly mean. Have you measured your traditions by God’s Word? Or are they measured only by the uniqueness of your house, your family, or your household? They do have priority over all others, but only after God, husband, then children. After that, those relatives outside your household have their place.

If we want to buy and give, better to do it throughout the year. Every day throughout the year, live like Christ. Have His character. That’s being a Christian. And that alone is a gift of encouragement to everyone you speak to or just smile at. That’s a gift that is priceless and continues far beyond a holiday season. Remember, giving is not always buying.

In the giving, God requires us to have no appearance of evil. Know this. And remember, God means what He says.

If my telling you God bless you is not good to you or enough for you, take it up with God. For God’s will or His word prayed for you and on your behalf is someone speaking God’s blessing upon you. It is the ultimate gift, because God knows exactly what is best for you. Only life and health can come from God.

Remember, Christmas has nothing to do with Christ—period—let alone His birth. So be sure you know who are you worshiping.

And be sure that God knows our heart; so be careful when you speak those words. For we know that God tells us:

Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV
[9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? [10] I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

You got beef about me obeying God, take it up with God. He fights for me.

I love you. God bless you.
