“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
John 4:23 KJV
Worshiping Elohim in spirit and in truth includes our daily choices whether in harmony with His Word, whether in obedience to Him, whether we are daily dying, being sanctified by Him to even enter into His holy day of rest—Sabbath (the seventh day) He blessed and sanctified is crucial to hearing and doing the Word. Every aspect of our living from what we eat and drink, to what we put on our bodies (the temple of Elohim, to be the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit); to every thought we allow in the mind, everything we choose to look at, watch, allow in our hearing, the words spoken out of our mouth is involved in John 4:23.
