Lay the axe to the root

“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭18‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Before healing can come, there must be true deliverance. The axe must be laid to the root.

Who, what is at the root of sickness, illness, disease? Who, or what is at the root of unforgiveness, resentment, anger, frustration, depression; selfishness, adultery, fornication, lying, killing, covetousness? Who? What?

Who, what is the root of your struggle? Why are we our own worst enemy?

The Word of Elohim answers all these questions.

We want to immediately apply a natural remedy like we once applied a “pill”. No! We must each get to the root of the issue whether it is physical and, or spiritual (which also involves mental).

You know what this takes us back to? Surrender, complete, total surrender of self-will to the will of Elohim—giving up governing ourselves to Him governing and ruling us.

This surrender to Elohim is a daily dying to self, crucifying the flesh—self. It is a daily choice—moment by moment that we must choose by the measure of faith given us. Through every temptation of Satan, we will be victorious if we have surrendered all of self, everything to Elohim.

HalleluYah

“if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
