There can be forgiveness, but without repentance , without change; there will be no true reconciliation. Without repentance, the soul will be and remain lost—they will die the second death. There must be confession and repentance—a turning away from sin, wrong doing; and turn to Elohim.
When a soul seeks to be forgiven, they first must acknowledge they have sinned, disobeyed, done wrong (spiritual and physical). They must specifically accept responsibility for their wrong choice in words and, or deeds. They first go to Elohim in prayer acknowledging, specifically confessing, asking forgiveness—and then go to the person or persons and acknowledge, confess what they specifically did and, or said; and ask for forgiveness—make wrongs right, restitution as far as possible, if possible.
Repenting involves seeking Elohim for His gift of repentance—true godly sorrow for sin, which involves receiving His perfect hatred for sin that we turn away from it. We loathe sin, we won’t want to smile at it, won’t laugh at it, won’t ignore it but will call it out by its right name.
When a soul receives Elohim’s gift of repentance, by faith and the power of the Holy Spirit: We are converted—we become and are changed. Then there can be reconciliation —a coming together one with the other, fellowship. Repentance involves work on our part: Daily crucifying self—the old man of sin—daily dying to self to the old man of sin moment by moment; and taking up our cross—follow Yeshuah.
Otherwise, there can be no reconciliation. No change, no reconciliation. So it is spiritually as it is physically (spiritual realm and in our daily lives living in the physical). If no repentance, but only confessing and the soul forgiven;
