The Glory, The Fire…

Do you know Him?

“And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me. Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber. And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭1‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee. Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭9‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭22‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭24‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
