The godly and the wicked contrasted – Part 1

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

My prayer to God the Holy Father in the name of Jesus is that the Holy Spirit is poured out upon all that read through Proverbs as it reveals the contrast between the godly and the wicked—that you receive the Word and by the faith given us—we apply it to our life. When we are shown what is in our heart (mind) we are to give it up, surrender it to the Lord for Him to remove. He will not remove, take nothing away from us or out of us that we are not first one hundred percent willing to give up. The more we let sin go the more of self dies that Christ live one hundred percent in us. We confess, receive God’s repentance, He converts us through the Holy Spirit. He can only dwell where there is no sin. If Christ mind is in us, the enemy cannot enter—he is defeated. Remember, in Christ, and He in us—We overcome sin. Period.

“The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: But righteousness delivereth from death.

The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: But he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: But he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

Blessings are upon the head of the just: But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

The memory of the just is blessed: But the name of the wicked shall rot.

The wise in heart will receive commandments: But a prating fool shall fall.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
