We best be on God’s path
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble.” Proverbs 4:18,19 KJV
We best not remove not one safeguard
“The removal of one safeguard from the conscience, the failure to do the very thing that the Lord has marked out, one step in the path of wrong principle, often leads to an entire change of the life and action…We are safe only in following where Christ leads the way. The path will grow clearer, brighter and brighter, unto the perfect day. A conscience once violated is greatly weakened. It needs the strength of constant watchfulness and unceasing prayer” (1MCP 320.4).
