The mind

The mind is the heart. The mind can be a storehouse of good or evil. The mind is greater and more powerful than any computer man has put their hands to build. Out of the heart are the issues of life. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

If we behold God, His Word; we will become changed by Him through the Holy Spirit. We will begin to think, speak, do—live by God’s every word. He writes in our mind His law, His love. His character we will live because we have the mind of Christ.

If we are putting in our minds gossip, anger, lies, violence, hate whether in our listening; or reading, or watching, or in our communications: Our mind stores it all, and our character changes. If we do not give it all up to God to remove, it is certain it will change us in the worse ways. The choice of not surrendering to God is the soul separating themself from God, and giving control of the mind to Satan—whether the soul realizes it or not.

Who is controlling your mind? Do you even realize who you’ve given yourself to by your choices?

We all need to examine the state of our heart (mind) by God’s Word, and just give up ourselves to God—He will heal us and make us whole.

Sin, wickedness, evil begins in the mind, and comes out of the mouth, then the deed is done. Or, it begins in the mind, and then the deed is done. Sometimes the darkness, wickedness that is in the mind remains there—the soul just holds it there by unforgiveness, resentment, or even unintentionally because of trauma. Some behold lies, believe lies—even lies they have spoken they start to believe them to be true: By beholding, they become changed. The soul can become changed by beholding sins, sinful ways, words spoken to them by others as well.

Let us by faith fill the mind with that which is of God, in harmony with His will—His Word. Then the words we speak, the things we do will be reflective of the mind of Christ in us.

Holy scriptures for study (in part): Jeremiah 17:9; Proverbs 4:23; Proverbs 23:7; Matthew 15:19; Matthew 5:28; Mark 7:21.

I am so glad that God is attending to all of that, and contends with them as well.

No soul with sin in them will be in Heaven—no, not one. Think about that.

What are we looking at, taking into our mind, beholding in our mind each day? Is it that which edifies us in God? Is it that which keeps our eyes on Christ, helps us help others in leading them to Christ, or a closer walk with God? Is it glorifyGod?

Take it to God, ask Him to remove it. If you sincerely do not want it, He will take it and separate it far from you.

God is merciful. God is love. He wants to save us (deliver us from sin and from the power of sin). Will you surrender up yourself to Him right now, and daily? Will you let Him love you, change you, restore you unto His image and after His likeness? I pray you will, as I pray for myself.

Repent and be converted, be born again. Be not deceived.
