Get your house in order. Period.
God’s way is in His Sanctuary. There are no world’s holidays in the Holiest of Holies. Period. God’s people are to be living in the Holiest of Holies being cleansed of all sin, all iniquity, all unrighteousness, all that is contrary to the love of God. God’s Ten Commandment law is deep and broad and touches every aspect of our daily living. It boils down to this: Love the LORD your God. Period. Loving God supremely.
God’s people are in the world but not of the world. We don’t love the things of the world. We don’t dress up or disguise their ways, their holidays, their traditions, etcetera.
There is a fine line between love and hate. The world’s love sees God’s love as hate. Why? They do not know Him. They do not have His love in them. It is sad, but the reality is that many do not want His love. Period. Really, many who profess God don’t really truly want His love either—so they are on the fence, live one way outside in certain circumstances and in others they live their true heart desires.
The love of God has no resemblance to the love of the world which is Satan’s counterfeit.
Yes, If God has said go to their gatherings if invited—we go standing, not compromising, not substituting, not having even the appearance of evil. Evil is disobedience to God’s Word, to His principles in the least. We stand out in a way that glorifies God, not shaming Him, not being a hypocrite either, nor extreme (Extreme is disobedience in any way, shape, or form no matter in the least or great).
We don’t say one thing, but then do another because the world has set a day for their holidays.
We do not take a way of the world, and put Yehovah’s name on it and then think it’s ok to partake or participate or celebrate.
By God’s principles, we abstain from the appearance of evil. We walk not after the flesh, but in the Spirit of God. We live by His every word.
The problem is that many confuse God’s love with the counterfeit love of the world. And they put their lips to define God’s love but using the world’s definition of love, the world’s view or standards of love.
God is love: He delivers souls from sin not in sin. God’s love chastens. God’s love is patient, kind, long suffering, merciful, gracious; reproof, judgment. God’s love is self-sacrificing. God’s love is agape love. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. God is righteous and in Him is no unrighteousness. God is only righteous and holy. God makes His faithful His people holy and righteous. God puts His Spirit in the mind of His called and chosen.
Will God find any, faithful?
