Yes, Jesus Christ came to save, to heal they who are (us) sinners, they who are sick—not they who are well, because He has healed them and made them whole. He bids us, Go and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you.
Why turn back to wallow in the mud, in the dung? I know why I did; why I kept yielding to temptation: It was spoken often in my hearing that “We will be sinning until Jesus comes”. They don’t tell you that the more you yield to the devil, the more power we give him over us until he has full control; he controls our thoughts, and our words, and our actions.
When I came back to God after the last time; by faith, I spent time with God, studying led of the Holy Spirit—I searched the holy scriptures, was taught of the Holy Ghost. When I was shown this beautiful truth that I, by the Almighty Yah, the Holy Spirit can, will overcome sin; I was shouting it everywhere! “You don’t have to sin, we have a choice!”.
Then, God taught me through His Spirit that Yeshuah gave me a choice in the beginning: Enmity to sin! I was like what!!! I don’t have to sin! If every-day my faith choice is hatred for sin; If my faith choice is to love God: God gives me a way of escape, and the strength to endure the temptation; I shall come forth victorious! It’s all about our “choices”.
So many speak daily “I am a sinner”. They get angry, upset if you bring the good news of victory over sin to them. They speak accusing the other soul of thinking they are “holier than thou”; accused of thinking they “have arrived”; or they accuse them of being as “the Scribes and Pharisees”. But this is the character of Satan the accuser of the brethren.
What comes after that first choice of surrender of self to God in the day the choice is made, and ever day moving forward?
The soul has to daily give up one’s will completely, fully to the will God. The soul must daily, even moment by moment some must do this—give up governing self and give God complete reign in the mind, life, body. By faith, and the mind of Christ in the mind of the soul, filled with the Holy Spirit: It is no more the old creature but the new creature living by faith, Christ righteousness. We by faith die daily, take up our cross and follow Christ. It is Christ mind in us. Sin cannot exist in the righteousness of God.
It’s all about our faith and choices. What is your choice today, and every day forward?
Salvation of the righteous is of the Lord. Check out just some (there are many many many more) of the blessings, benefits of God upon His, they who by faith love God with their whole heart, hear and know that which comes to they who choose to remain a sinner:
“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: For there is no want to them that fear him.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: But they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is he that desireth life, And loveth many days, that he may see good?
Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.
The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, And delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.
Evil shall slay the wicked: And they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: And none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.”
Psalm 34:1-22 KJV
We must get to know God. We must take Him at His Word. Please choose God today, and every day He awakens you.
Peace
