Deuteronomy 12:21-28 KJV
“And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. Leviticus 17:10-16 KJV
“And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”

To eat or not to eat is a matter of faith in, and obedience to God. He knows what is best for us. The issue is that many do not want to give up their will to Him and be governed by Him. Many think that they know what is best, that they know more than God. God, and only God knows the end from the beginning. He has given us instructions that if strictly followed, His promised blessings shall come upon us, overflowing.
We choose to obey God loving God. This is the work He does in us—the lifestyle of His redeemed.
By faith, choose to obey God unto loving God. His will, will come to pass that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospereth.
