Does your appetite control you in what you eat and drink—when, where , and how? Or, do you control what, when, where, and how you eat? Maybe your appetite has to do with the desire for riches, wealth, gain, fornication, self-exaltation, or apparel, jewels, smoking, etcetera. Whatever it is, whether the belly god, or self period—Is your appetite controlling you? Or, Do you have the fruit of the Spirit, do you have self-control (temperance)?
There is a difference believe it, or not. For one is either temperate, controlled by God through the Holy Spirit of their own daily free-will. Or, they are governing self, defaulted to being controlled by devils, and are given in to the pride of life, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh.
The soul lives being governed by God through the Holy Spirit; or the soul is not governed by God; but chooses to govern self, therefore measuring everything in error, by mankind, by the standards of the world, living in deception being under the influence of Satan.
God from the beginning tells us His ways, His plan, what He created best for us. But mankind thinks they know themselves. Mankind thinks they know what is best, they try to justify their choice of living, but they really can’t. There is no truth in them trying to justify self. Period.
If appetite is ruling you, you are committing suicide slowly. The truth came to you and you rejected God, continued living your way. There are many who realize they’ve had a disease for a long while, yet live while rejecting Truth. There be many that die immediately after their rejection of Truth.
This is not the will of God, nor His approval. It was simply their choice, and the consequences. God does not overrule our choices nor the consequences of our choices.
Do not be a person given to appetite. Do not let your belly be your god. By faith, and the Holy Spirit choose to do what God says obeying and loving God because He first loved you.
Be not deceived. Repent and be converted that your sins be blotted out, and you be born again, and your name remain written in Heaven.
