The spiritual state of mind

The spiritual state of the Gentiles and God’s professed people are the same. How can this be? The people of God became changed by beholding the heathen, the gentiles in their midst. God’s people were to be surrendered to God, Him governing them. They were to live His word, His commandments, His law, His love, His character before all people around them.

God’s people are professing truth with their mouth, but, denying God in their daily living. They are having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. God’s people are being the Gentile, the Greek, the heathen that they were to be a light to. God’s professed people (Israel) are being double-minded, lukewarm, Laodicea.

Ezekiel 8 and Jeremiah 10 God shows us the abominations of God’s professed people—the same as the wicked. How can mankind do these things? They love darkness rather than light.

All the world’s festivals worshiping other gods, committing all that is abominable to God. Labeling the truth a lie and the lies as the truth. Putting God’s holy name upon wickedness.

God weeps, and pleads for His people to turn away from wickedness and turn back to Him. He is redemptive. Nevertheless, His word shall come to pass concerning them. God will not overrule their choice, their will. God will give them up to their own reprobate mind.

As before in Ezekiel and throughout Jeremiah, etcetera, so it is now. God in His word has left nothing out. We all are warned. We all are told truth. We all are given a measure of faith. We all have been given a choice. We all have been called. But, not all answer the call. Therefore, not all are chosen.

God has given us enmity to sin. We must choose to hate sin as does our holy Father, our Creator and Redeemer. If any-one is lost, and comes up in the second resurrection, it will be no-one’s fault but each their own.

Repent and be converted before it is too late.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God’s wrath against sin

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

God allows their choice and the consequences

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be not deceived. Repent and be converted.
