We cannot be servants to two masters:We will hate one and love the other. There is no truth in loving both. It is impossible.
The love of God is only truth and light. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. God is righteous, and in Him is no unrighteousness.
There comes an end to everything at some point. God is love. God is long suffering. God is merciful. His character will never change. It is the mercy of God that will put an end to sin. They who want to hold on to the ways, entertainment, worship, love of the world: These will perish. They will not exist. They will be ashes beneath the feet of the Saints of God.
To hold on to what pleases self, doing one’s own will is rejecting God, rejecting His love, and eternal life. These are they without faith. These are they that hate God and love death.
Beware, be aware, be not deceived. Once saved always saved is a lie. We cannot keep yielding to sin, giving Satan more and more power over us, and still think that we are connected to God. Sin separates us from God. The Holy Ghost cannot, will not dwell in a sin-filled temple.
Christ saves the sinner from sin. Christ will not force the willing sinner to turn away from sin. God allows their choice to separate from Him.
This, is even His love.
