“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

In all our daily living, who are we worshiping (serving) really? The answer reveals whether we believe, enter into Rest—Sabbath, the seventh day (Saturday).
If you love me, keep my commandments. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Obedience unto God is loving God.
God is Creator and Redeemer. He restores. The holy Sabbath of God is a memorial of Him as Creator, points us to Him our Redeemer. His holy seventh day is all about God. Period. What He says, not what we want, not what we say, not what we want to do, listen to, not how we “think” to want to worship, to serve God, but only “Thus saith the Lord.”
His Sabbath is not about restrictions. Sabbath is about God working in us what will deliver us, save us, keep us—He is the God who sanctifies us. Sabbath sanctifies us.
We are not to put ourselves on Satan’s ground no day, nor at any time, let alone in God’s holy Sabbath. “Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy God” (Luke 4:12).
We are not to love iniquity: she is the enemy of God. If you hold her in your heart, your very prayers are an abomination to God; your prayers are hindered.
We who are God’s children, we who belong to God: He is our Maker and our Husband. Our bodies belong to God. Our mind is the secret place of Him, the Most High. The Most Holy Place where He dwells in us is our mind (our heart).
We do not put drugs (whether or not prescribed by man) in God’s holy Temple (our bodies, our mind). We do not put in us that which is harmful in the least. Many are professing God, yet they are taking His name in vain with their daily life choices.
We, who belong to the Most High, live peaceably with mankind as far as possible, be submissive—yet, we do not obey man in anything that is contrary to the will of God, and effectively gives them dominion over us, pulling us away from God, away from His Truth. We do not “follow” the counsel of the ungodly, nor their instruction one iota. To do so even in the least is contrary to God. Mankind, whether friend, foe, wife, husband, child (adult or otherwise), even an employer: no one is in any way to have the authority or dominion over us that belongs to God alone. Period.
We must be mindful and know, not guess at what God says concerning our worship or our service to Him in our daily lives. Yes, even in marriage: for the two in the LORD glorify God and are edifying one another in God by their union. Let that sink in, and study that out.
God is our Maker and our Husband. The church (His people, His children, etc) we are His bride. We do not choose to commit adultery against Him: He said we shall not turn to the right nor left to serve other gods.
God’s children belong to Him (first and foremost). We have been bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. His death and resurrection grants us victory over death and sin. His work as our High Priest in the Sanctuary of God in heaven makes it possible for us to be reconciled unto God, if we so choose. It is a work by faith.
God and God alone has the first and last word or say in our lives in all things concerning us. Any unconverted soul (the double-minded, being unstable in all their ways; the fearful, whose spirit is not of God but of Satan; the brute; the accuser of the brethren, etcetera) cannot get a prayer through to God. Only the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous, the prayers of His saints, the prayers of the contrite in heart are heard of God. He hears and answers them that pray according to His Word yes, amen.
God hears the sinner’s sincere cry for deliverance from bondage to sin in all its forms. He immediately responds to their sincere cry for help, for deliverance.
The bride of God, the child of God is not to exercise their freewill of choice to tempt the Lord God and ingest or give permission to be injected with such things that wickedness has concocted to destroy God’s created.
It is all about our choices.
When we allow God’s will to be performed in us, in our lives, when we allow Him to work all things together for good to them that love Him, to the called according to His purpose; we are choosing Life. But we are choosing death when we allow Satan’s works of killing, stealing, destroying to be carried out directly or indirectly in or through us. We surrender ourselves either to God or to Satan by our choices in all things, ways, situations, and circumstances.
Let us be very mindful what we put into our bodies. Let us be careful what we allow our eyes to gaze upon, lest it keep our attention—we become changed by that which we behold. The eye is the light of the body; and if the eye is dark, then the whole body is dark. We are to be very careful and mindful of what we allow in our hearing, what we set our hand to, our feet to. Let us be mindful of what is our walk every day and especially on Sabbath. For what the walk is throughout the six days of the week, in each day in all our living, reveals the true character of the soul Sabbath, if we truly enter into rest, or not.
The six days we are to be separating from sin and the sinful: cleansing ourselves, fasting as God’s Spirit leads us to, by faith choosing to live Isaiah 58, and praying without ceasing. We are to be cooperating with the Holy Spirit: submitting ourselves to God, resisting the Devil, acknowledging and confessing sin, forsaking sin, repenting and as far as possible making restitution that we may be reconciled unto God. God does not give His salvation to anyone who has not surrendered completely to Him: God heals us and clothes us in our right mind. We have no righteousness of our own—we only have the Lord’s righteousness in us.
God does not go against His own word. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. God is righteous, and in Him is no unrighteousness.
All our living is to be about giving God glory in all we eat, drink, do; we do all to the glory of God. Our main focus is always to be on Jehovah, His love, His character.
“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:22-24).
“The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light” (Luke 11:34-36).
“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:16-18).
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it” (Isaiah 58:13, 14).
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14).
