From the beginning there has been and will always be God’s law: Love. Christ spoke and lived His Father’s Word testifying of Himself, living His Father’s character, His word. God’s Love was not, is not done away with/abolished. It was not nailed to the cross. The law of sacrificing animals and food for the atonement for sin was nailed to the cross: Christ paid the wages for sin: His death. Christ became the lamb. One sacrifice once and for all for all sin. Christ who knew no sin took in all sin. He died the second death so that we MIGHT not. Might because we have a choice whether to believe on Christ and love Him or reject Him hating Him disobeying Him.
Christ Himself spoke His law of Love in Ten Commandments. He wrote them on both sides of two tables of stone with His own finger! Christ made a point in of letting us know that all Ten Commandments hang on Love summing them up in two (Note: the first four Commandments are deep and broad in loving God; the last six are deep and broad in loving others). He says new but lets us know they are from the beginning!Read John 13:34, 1John 2:7,8; 1John 2:24; 2John 1:5; then read Leviticus 19:18.
The light of the world live God’s law: Love. Christ the Light of the world: Christ fulfilled the law of Love in living it: He is our example… By faith and His Grace (Power) we live… We are saved by Grace through faith: We are saved by our faith exercised by our choices and so it is our faith ignites the Holy Spirit to move upon us giving us the Power (Grace) of God to be delivered from sin, reflective of living L, keeping God’s law: Love: God’s Ten Commandments.
Matthew 5:14-18 KJV
[14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. [17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Remember if you believe on any other, teaching others contrary to God’s Word, against Him, against His Commandments He tells you and me point blank you will not be in Heaven.
Matthew 5:19-20 KJV
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in l no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
We must EXCEED the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees… they lived their own ways and kept the commandments of men not God’s Commandments.
The kingdom of God is built and established upon and is governed by His law: Love. God’s redeemed establish and are governed by God’s law: Love. We delight in God’s love. His Love: Ten Commandments is not grievous.
No one will be saved who chooses not to exercise the faith God has given relying totally on God’s Grace (Power) to Love Him (Obey Him, be the light in the world… be the light in the midst of darkness, live Christ doctrine).
Be careful, very mindful of not receiving into our houses, neither bid them God speed: those who do not abide in Christ, in His doctrine.
2 John 1:8-11 KJV 8] Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. [9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: [11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
