What to do when…

What do you do when your heart hurts to the point you feel as if you cannot breathe? What do you do when it is your husband, your wife, child/children; mother, father, sibling; sister or brother in the church, other kinfolk who hurt you?

Self has to die and surrender completely, Wholeheartedly to God. Let go and let God.

We humble ourselves before God. We submit ourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us. We go the Word of God. We trust in the Lord with all our heart, lean not unto our own understanding, in all our ways we acknowledge Him; and He will direct our paths.

We love with the love of God praying for those who hurt us, despitefully use us, persecute us for Christ name sake: These are God’s enemies, therefore, our enemies. We help them, do good unto them as God permits giving us the means, ability, capability. God through His Spirit gives us both the will and to do His good pleasure.

We have the love of God for them: self-sacrificing love: We fast and pray for them. Christ fasted from eating and drinking to conquer appetite, thus He had the Spirit of God to overcome temptation from Satan himself. Fasting overcoming appetite for another is sacrificing self: a type of dying for another.

We are talked about negatively, spit on literally and figuratively, lied on, about, hurt emotionally, spiritually, physically; disrespected, walked on, and ridiculed, etc. By the grace of God, by faith; we shall not rail back, nor defend ourselves. We declare God’s Word, claim His promises. We stand on His Word. God will fight for us and we shall hold our peace.

Hold on to God, my friend, with all your human effort. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
