We are already saved by Christ from the penalty of sin. That is only a part of God’s salvation. We must also be delivered from sin: Salvation is deliverance from sin not yielding to living in, practicing sin.
Christ stands on the outside of our heart (mind) knocking. We must open the doors of the brain in which the mind is housed, and invite Christ 100% into our very minds, our very lives, our very existence. We must surrender to God completely, and seek Him to fully govern us. We must give up our right to govern ourselves completely to God.
He cleans us up, clothes us in our right minds. He takes the old heart out of our flesh; and He puts a new heart of flesh in us. God puts His Spirit in us, and causes us to keep His statues do them and His judgements. We are new creatures.
We are saved from the penalty of sin (wages of sin is death) by Christ death on the cross. He died the second death for us.
By disobedience to God, rebelling against God, rejecting God; we transgress God’s law of love, His law of liberty: God’s Ten Commandments: Summed up in Two Commandments: Originated from One great commandment: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
There is nothing we can do to save ourselves from the penalty of sin. Christ is the only one who could and did save all created beings from the penalty of sin.
We must by faith choose to live the will of God (His Word). We must by faith choose to love God with all our heart, soul, and might. All we live and do, we must live after the Spirit and not after the flesh. All we do must be by faith, otherwise it is sin. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
The life lived daily is Worship. All we eat, drink, do is worship either to God or Satan. What is our/your choice today, every day- moment by moment make your choice by faith known.
