We would be wise to heed the word of God. His will, His instruction in righteousness, His reproof, His doctrine, His culture, His religion, His warning to us what not to do, are all for our good. His warning to us of the consequences for disobeying Him are meant to protect us from the wages of sin.
We who belong to God are saved by grace through faith. We do not play, compromise, sneak around with, nor hold on to sin. We choose by faith to avoid it like the plague. Let that sink in.
