Another of Many Remedies For Flu/Colds

This is just another of many remedies after praying to God I have personally tried as well as some in my family- my sister can testify what it did for her literally overnight! My grandchildren have literally been well overnight to 2 days after being sick for days with bad colds, coughs.

Flu/bad cold/upper respiratory/congestion/bronchitis/mucus build up? This is what I would do:

Take a raw onion sliced, placed on bottom of the feet- put on socks to hold in place; rub down chest and back with eucalyptus and or peppermint oil (put coconut oil or olive oil first in case of sensitive skin);casteroil may be used to carry eucalyptus and/or peppermint oil deep, it is also a anti-inflammatory, pain remover, antibiotic… and more. I would cut an onion in half and place on a saucer and sit next to my bed as I sleep. The onion absorbs toxins out of the body through the feet, and the onion next to the bed does absorbs germs, toxins in the room. The eucalyptus/peppermint opens the airwaves that you can breathe, gets oxygen to the brain as one breathes, also bringing up mucus. Also I would rub peppermint oil and casteroil where I am aching- this is good to relieve pain and aches. Lavender will do this as well as cause me to relax and calm me. I would also drink Colloidal Silver for it is a powerful antibiotic. Other powerful antibiotic s just to name a few: oregano oil, goldenseal, garlic.

Before I do anything, I go to God by faith trysting He will heal me; I thank Him trusting it is done. He sometimes does it right then; other times He gives me what to do, and/or herbs, food I may need or sometimes to simply drink water, and get some fresh air, take walk, get some sun and rest. God is the answer the antidote to everything spiritual, mental, and physical. Try Him, try His ways- you will be blessed.

Please Do Not Wait To Start The Process of Healing!

Please do not wait to start the process of healing! Start at the first sign of sickness- tired achy/itchy throat/ aching in body/glands in neck swollen… etc etc etc At first sign, begin the process, also contacting someone you know of that is knowledgeable in natural remedies, herbs etc and make a conscious choice what you will do.

Have you tried goldenseal as a tea for sinuses, upper respiratory, chest congestion? Goldenseal is powerful!!! I know personally what this herb will do by God’s Grace (Power) in healing even overnight colds, flu! Sore throat? Also drink warm lemon water with cayenne, ginger/warm water w/cayenne pepper all by itself! Literally overnight sore throat completely gone!

Virus or What?

Whether a virus is man made or not, sin is the origin, Satan the author. It is real. There is an underlying agenda regardless if man made or not… mans ways rooted in sin has brought it to surface. Know the keys in dealing with it, protecting yourself from it and any disease, how to live through its affects and the aftermath.

Trusting in God believing in Him brings about one doing what they believe. If we believe in God, believe (do) (live) as God says to live- by His every word.

Take into account all information possible and first and foremost measure it all including ones own diet and lifestyle By God- by His word.
Search out if the information be true… Remember to Go to God for He has told us all things we need to know about these last days, and in us preparing and being ready for them, Him that we be ready and found faithful when Christ returns.

After you receive knowledge and understanding from the mouth of God through the Holy Ghost, make your conscious decision. Remember that God is the Healer, the

Deliverer from ALL disease of the mind and body including sin.

Are Your Prayers Safe From Satan?

A young Christian in my 20s, I had recently devoted my life to Christ and had already found in prayer a comfort and a shelter from evil. Once, I was awakened by the rattle of the chain lock on my apartment door. Barely awake, I struggled saying only His name: JESUS. That one-word prayer was immediately effective. The rattle was never heard again. Never since have I forgotten the power of that prayer.

Yet among professed Christians, I have heard a most disturbing statement: “Satan answers prayer too.” What!? As a young “babe” in Christ, I was bewildered and sorely affected that Satan could be putting words in my mind to pray and then answer them. At least that was what I was told. Unbelievable! Still, I pressed on to align my life with Christ and allow Him to live in my heart.

More than than forty years later, I have learned that my prayers are not as immediately answered as that night I was barely able to whisper the name JESUS. Sometimes I must wait in order to simply develop more patience. Sometimes my prayers are not immediately answered so that I may become more fully prepared for the fulfillment of my request. I have even learned that sometimes JESUS just wants me to watch Him work through the vicissitudes of my life to accomplish a deeper faith in His ability to do anything but fail me. And yes, sometimes, He simply says NO. And I trust that He knows what is best for me. He knows the very end from the very beginning. Always, there is a lesson to be learned.

Now more than forty years later, to hear that Satan is given the privilege to engage in the sacred communion of prayer between an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent God and His trusting child has unearthed within me an anger and a pain almost inexpressible. How can any sincere Christian believe in the power of Satan more than in the power of an ALL-POWERFUL GOD? At least that is what they imply when they make such statements.

Yes. The circumstances may seem impossible. Yes. The time, maybe, has worn long. Still, God expects His own to believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently worship Him. (Read and meditate on Hebrews 11:6.)

And yes. It is true that the psalmist warned against regarding iniquity in the heart, so that the Lord will not hear. (Read Psalm 66:18.) King Solomon identifies those who regard iniquity in the heart. Here’s what he said in Proverb 28:9: “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” King David in Psalm 109:5-7, prayed against those that reward evil for good and hatred for love. Those are they who may expect a wicked man to be over him and Satan to stand at his right hand, the position of power. Those are they whose prayer becomes sin.

“Those who bring their petitions to God, claiming His promise while they do not comply with the conditions, insult Jehovah.” COL 143 That is presumption. We are not to presume upon the mercies of God. He is not to be trifled with.

“If we regard iniquity in our hearts, if we cling to any known sin, the Lord will not hear us; but the prayer of the penitent, contrite soul is always accepted. When all known wrongs are righted, we may believe that God will answer our petitions. Our own merit will never commend us to the favor of God; it is the worthiness of Jesus that will save us, His blood that will cleanse us; yet we have a work to do in complying with the conditions of acceptance.” {SC 95.3}

Persons who are “too wise in their own conceit to search the Scriptures with contrition of soul and earnest prayer for divine guidance, they have no shield from delusion. Satan is ready to supply the heart’s desire, and he palms off his deceptions in the place of truth.—(The Great Controversy, 523.) {Pr 226.1}

“The prayer of faith [however] is the great strength of the Christian and will assuredly prevail against Satan. This is why he [Satan] insinuates that we have no need of prayer. The name of Jesus, our Advocate, he detests; and when we earnestly come to Him for help, Satan’s host is alarmed.”—(Testimonies for the Church 1:296.) {Pr 63.2}

“Wicked men and devils cannot hinder the work of God, or shut out His presence from the assemblies of His people, if they will, with subdued, contrite hearts, confess and put away their sins, and in faith claim His promises.—(Selected Messages 1:124.) {Pr 120.2}

Jesus promises power to those who belong to Him. In fact, He added in Luke 10:19, this: “nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Psalm 129:4, states this: “The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.”

When you are alone with God, sincerely seeking Him in humble, quiet tones, you may be assured of safety from the wicked one. In fact, he cannot even hear your prayer. Listen to this! “Secret prayer! How precious! The soul communing with God! Secret prayer is to be heard only by the prayer-hearing God.”—(Testimonies for the Church 2:189, 190.)  {Pr 178.1}

“We can safely commune with Him of all that is in our hearts.”—(Testimonies for the Church 5:200, 201.) {Pr 8.3}

If somehow you still believe that your prayers are not safe from Satan, please prayerfully read this final statement by Ellen G. White, a servant of the Lord, about the battle over your sincere soul.

God Sends Reinforcements of Angels to Our Aid in Answer to Prayer—If Satan sees that he is in danger of losing one soul, he will exert himself to the utmost to keep that one. And when the individual is aroused to his danger, and, with distress and fervor, looks to Jesus for strength, Satan fears that he will lose a captive, and he calls a reinforcement of his angels to hedge in the poor soul, and form a wall of darkness around him, that heaven’s light may not reach him. But if the one in danger perseveres, and in his helplessness casts himself upon the merits of the blood of Christ, our Saviour listens to the earnest prayer of faith, and sends a reinforcement of those angels that excel in strength to deliver him. Satan cannot endure to have his powerful rival appealed to, for he fears and trembles before His strength and majesty. At the sound of fervent prayer, Satan’s whole host trembles. He continues to call legions of evil angels to accomplish his object. And when angels, all-powerful, clothed with the armory of heaven, come to the help of the fainting, pursued soul, Satan and his host fall back, well knowing that their battle is lost. The willing subjects of Satan are faithful, active, and united in one object. And although they hate and war with one another, yet they improve every opportunity to advance their common interest. But the great Commander in heaven and earth has limited Satan’s power. (Testimonies for the Church 1:345, 346.)  {Pr 256.5}

Therefore, trembling one, be assured that “the earnest prayer of faith will baffle his strongest efforts.” Now then, go head and pray. Never fear to “take ‘the shield of faith,’ brethren, ‘wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.’”(Testimonies for the Church 5:294.) {Pr 63.1}

What Is On My Mind…

I’m deeply wounded and baffled to the point of anger. Yes. I’m angry.

I am angry because people are diseased and poor. They are sick and stressed because they cannot afford to purchase the medications prescribed by their doctors.

I am angry because these drug medications are not a cure, anyway. They treat. They cover up symptoms; but they do not cure. In fact, they even bring more sickness and disease, because they poison the blood. Listen to this:

“People need to be taught that drugs do not cure disease. It is true that they sometimes afford present relief, and the patient appears to recover as the result of their use; this is because nature has sufficient vital force to expel the poison and to correct the conditions that caused the disease. Health is recovered in spite of the drug. But in most cases the drug only changes the form and location of the disease. Often the effect of the poison seems to be overcome for a time, but the results remain in the system and work great harm at some later period. {MH 126.3}

“By the use of poisonous drugs, many bring upon themselves lifelong illness, and many lives are lost that might be saved by the use of natural methods of healing. The poisons contained in many so-called remedies create habits and appetites that mean ruin to both soul and body. Many of the popular nostrums called patent medicines, and even some of the drugs dispensed by physicians, act a part in laying the foundation of the liquor habit, the opium habit, the morphine habit, that are so terrible a curse to society.”  {MH 126.4}

That was written over a hundred years ago. Nevertheless, you are convinced that these drugs are necessary and believe as you have been told that they are specially designed to manage your condition. Do you really want to manage or just treat your condition? Don’t you want to be well? Who wants to be sick or diseased at all?

Those who cannot afford drug medications suffer; and many die. There is a solution. Listen to this:

“The only hope of better things is in the education of the people in right principles. Let physicians teach the people that restorative power is not in drugs, but in nature. Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health. In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right conditions in the system.” {MH 127.1}

Nevertheless, souls are suffering, while believing lies about disease and sickness. Thus they just “do what they are told.” This is very heartbreaking.

Especially heartbreaking and baffling is the reality that there are those who are sick and know, or at least have heard, how they can be well, but they do not want to make the lifestyle changes. I tell you lifestyle and not just diet, because the change that leads to the path of healing and life and life eternal requires a total lifestyle change. The way to health and healing involves a change in every aspect of the daily life: in all you eat, drink and do. Therefore, in all you do (O yes, I’m going there!), do to the glory of God.

This way of health and healing involves your mind, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands and feet. There are simple affordable practical applications that if one chooses to make the life- saving changes, they may receive health and healing. They may be made whole. They may be in health and prosper just as their soul prospers. Read 3 John 2.

If you are sick and you do not know what to do or where to go, please, contact me. Allow me to be your wellness lifestyle coach. I am going to tell you how to have health spiritually, physically, mentally. Real talk. The truth. Nothing but the truth. What you choose to do with the truth is your choice.

I personally know many who embrace physical and mental healing and think they can do without the spiritual healing. But understand this. It is impossible to have true healing physically and mentally, without being spiritually healthy. You may have had a checkup and were told you are in great health. But given the improper environment for too long, no longer will the body heal itself as God created it to do.

Sickness will come. Disease will come. Tragedy will come. You may just trip and fall, and find that your body will be able to take no more. All the years of abuse to the body inside and out become known by the symptoms, even though they may have been dormant during previous medications or treatment.

The good news is in God’s natural healing plan. Did you know you can drink the juice from green beans and have your insulin daily? Yes, healing involves more than this for your body to heal itself. But if you start by faithfully giving your body the proper environment, it will do what the Creator God created it to. When we eat and drink and live according to His will—His Word—the body then becomes a healing environment.

True healing comes from God.  But you must allow God’s hand to be in control from start to finish.

If you don’t know God or have faith in Him, and if you don’t know His love nor His way, you can learn. Although God allows the consequences of one’s choices, it is not His will that you be sick and diseased spiritually, physically or mentally. As you daily choose God’s lifestyle for you, your love for Him and your faith in Christ will grow. And your wellness lifestyle coach will have the faith enough for you. You will find that reaching your destination of health and healing spiritually, physically and mentally can be a reality.

Love Heals

Healing begins with putting your faith in God’s love for you. Go ahead. Test it. Try all the treatments you want. But until you add to your regimen that special ingredient—the prayer of faith—healing will not be complete. Instead, disease can stick around or seem to disappear only to resurge just at what may seem to be the worst of times for you and your family.

Here’s my very basic point. I recently treated a dry patch of skin with nightly applications of castor oil. I noticed that the dry patch lingered about a week without even a hint of going away. I wondered why, until I realized that I had not prayed about it. I thanked God for the reminder. Then I humbly asked for forgiveness and asked for healing. Within one day, I began experiencing drastic improvement. I kid you not.

It was amazing and very confirming that nothing should be attempted without prayer to our heavenly Father, who loves us and is tenderly affected by our needs. And then I found this statement that put it all together for me—for you.

“The love which Christ diffuses through the whole being is a vitalizing power. Every vital part—the brain, the heart, the nerves—it touches with healing. By it the highest energies of the being are roused to activity. It frees the soul from the guilt and sorrow, the anxiety and care, that crush the life forces. With it come serenity and composure. It implants in the soul, joy that nothing earthly can destroy,—joy in the Holy Spirit,—health-giving, life-giving joy. {MH 115.3}

“Our Saviour’s words, “Come unto Me, … and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28), are a prescription for the healing of physical, mental, and spiritual ills. Though men have brought suffering upon themselves by their own wrongdoing, He regards them with pity. In Him they may find help. He will do great things for those who trust in Him.” {MH 115.4}

Go ahead, begin your healing now with prayer. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for offering me a love that heals. I want it Lord and receive it in the way that you want it for me—be it physical, emotional, and/or spiritual. I trust your wisdom to do what is in my best interest and for my salvation. Thank you for hearing and answering, because I’m asking in the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen.

As you trust in the Savior, the one who created you, you will desire to modify your lifestyle for abundant living. For one, you will eat a healthy plant-based diet. You will drink only fresh water or herbal teas and only between meals, while avoiding all things harmful. You will walk in the fresh air for your daily sun bath. Exposing your face and hands (when possible) to absorb that sunlight, which helps the skin manufacture vitamin D. And vitamin D is essential to the health of the bones, the brain, blood pressure, and the body’s ability to maintain and regain vitality.

Finally, you will be determined to get good whole-body rest.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
