I’m not talking out of the side of my neck!

First off, I am speaking to those who profess to believe in Jesus the Son of God and God the Father.

When God’s Power (via the Holy Spirit) moves on our behalf and delivers us from sin, and then we turn backward and return to that sin, we should expect the worst. The consequence we first experienced from that sin shall be worse than the first time—whether it be disease, some kind of suffering, an unclean spirit or demons taking up residence in our minds. Why so?

We simply let go of God. We let go of that which God empowers us to do. God removed the sin and cleansed us. But we were to continue following His lead. Instead, we failed to fill our minds with God’s Word. Somehow, we began to trust ourselves more than God. We began to think we know more and better than God. We began to justify that which we wanted to do, because we began focusing on the very thing we had stopped doing.

We were drawn back into that same sin. No wonder. By beholding, we all become changed.

Suddenly, we found ourselves stuck—deeper steeped in sin than before!

No one can walk in darkness and be God’s children of light at the same time. No one can be in the Truth (Jesus) and yet walk in error. It is a dangerous thing to choose error after knowing the Truth.

Don’t lie to yourself. Don’t allow Satan’s influence to change you through anything: persons, places or things. None of us is a match against Satan, without God.

I am not speaking out of the side of my neck!

I know firsthand what I’m talking about. I have been delivered and have gone backward three times! No joke!

Thankfully, if one truly wants God’s salvation, He will give it to them. But there is a condition.

God requires your complete surrender. Your will must be totally surrendered to His will. You must be willing to give up your very existence—mind and body and life—to Him.

You think that is too much? Who else paid for you with their life just to give you the hope of salvation? Who else overcame even death for you? Who else was resurrected and is now interceding for you in Heaven? Who else stands before our Father in Heaven for you and cleanses you of your sins? Who else? No one.

Be careful what you allow into your mind through your watching and listening. Be careful who you communicate with on the phone or through texts, emails, and social media. Idolatry is still idolatry. No one can change what idolatry is. But anyone can choose not to become idolatrous.

Measure your beliefs by the Word of God. Measure your walking, your steps, by the Word of God. Measure your choices by the Word of God. Never use your own reasoning to measure anything!

What you behold will change you.

  1. The word of God, my everything. 2 Corinthians 10:12. It aint wise to compare myself with anyone or anything. I am beautifully and wonderfully made and that beauty shines when I am in Christ, my saviour. Thank you. I am enlightened.
